Client Feedback

Declan is one of the best developers I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside, with wide reaching knowledge on every aspect of the software development lifecycle. He has a true passion for creating applications that don't just meet client expectations, but that end users really enjoy using. I have no doubt that he will add value wherever he goes.

Declan was responsible for modernising Registers of Scotland's technology stack by moving existing services and databases onto AWS Cloud. Declan was also responsible for the development of multiple new web applications and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

All your questions, answered

Do you only develop custom applications from scratch?

Although my speciality is with building custom applications from scratch, i am open to helping businesses with their existing applications and codebase.

Why are you only taking on projects part time and charging less than half your usual rate?

My full time work as contractor/consultant for large scale enterprises is what pays the bills and i'm comfortable charging them high rates for my skills. However as i don't yet have any reputation as a custom app developer on the Sunshine Coast i'm offering my services part time at a discount until i build up enough reputation to go full time with Parabella.io

What technologies do you typically use?

Most projects can be completed using Typescript, React, React Native with PostgreSQL. However nothing is set in stone, i'll pick the best tool for the job.

Where are you from?

I'm actually from Scotland, i moved to Sunshine Coast in 2024 with my Partner and have no plans on leaving. We hit the jackpot landing on this place as our first experience in Australia.
